3. Gwent League Blaise Castle

Wow… what a weekend for UBACCC!!
Let’s start with Saturday when we travelled all the the way to sunny North Bristol for the Gwent League XC at Blaise Castle. What a turn out it was with some amazing performances!

To start were the Senior Women who placed 23rd/84 teams with Sophie Peach 8th, Bella Evans 94th, Liv Wise 138th, Abigaile Keyte 178th and Maddy Williams 232nd.

Next up were the U20 Men who placed 1st as a team with Rohan Brooks 1st place, Arthur Peel 3rd, Alex Aldred 5th, Jamie Barrington 8th, Ben Davies 11th, Shaun Waters 15th and Henry Fieldsend who rocked up to the line 60s before the gun came 16th!

U20 Women with Noemie Thomson making her UBACCC debut placing 1st, Lizzie Narbett 12th and Megan Dingle 18th!

Last but not least were the Senior Men placing 9th/105 teams! Alex Stewart brought the team home in 18th, Nathan Morris in 29th, David Corkey 50th, Felix Dennison 97th, Felix Wright 103rd, Tom Sobey 165th (who had an excellent start!) and Alex Feltham 318th.

Bristol University ended up placing 3rd overall on the day!!
